Another true story. This painting comes from an experience of an early morning on the Chowan River. The Chowan is wide and full of cypress trees and fishing opportunities. One moody overcast morning we drifted up to a fishy looking tree that was also accomodating a flock of cormorants that were enjoying a lazy morning. Oil on board 16x20 actual art size, framed in molded solid mahogany handcrafted by the artist.
